I was watching Ted Talks Education (Don't ask me why) and onto the feild came this amazing poet who talked and school life in the Bronx, a line in his poem made me want to write about life believing that you can be great, and what dream of greatness is better well-known than the ever cruel "American Dream" . The awesome cover image was done by *Orzz

Love it, especially the ending: "A reality meant for the wealthy/ But for the poor just a dream?"

Hi. You've submitted this group to PowerfulWriting. People don't seem to pay attention to the comments I put on their pieces unless I put them right on the piece. In order for a piece to be accepted into the group, you have to link us to constructive comment you've posted on a piece in one of the archive folders. In formation about that can be found in our journals concerning the rules.

Sorry if I seem abrupt. We've gotten a lot of submissions this month and no one has followed the rules. After you do this, we'll get a critique out to you as fast as we can. =)

It reminds me of Dorthea Lange' s "Skid Road" on Howard Street photo. Nicely done.

The problem is, too many people believe they're gonna get the carrot, when all they end up receiving is the stick.
